But we only spent two thousand RMB in total for two days on Ctrip, why did they deduct so much from us for one day! Because it was my father's first time to the United States, he was not clear about the regulations and violated the smoking regulations. We admit this, but the hotel used our credit card as a guarantee to deduct money without our permission, which was a bit self-righteous! Moreover, we were never told in advance that smoking was not allowed in the room. I hope that Ctrip can help us coordinate with the hotel to see if some of the money can be recovered.
